Q. How can I create custom email templates?
To access the Email Templates page, click on "Email Templates"

On the left-hand side of the dashboard, you can edit the different types of templates. There are four types of email templates you can create: one for applied candidates, one for not applied candidates, and one each for the first and second reminder emails.

Applied candidates: This email is sent to candidates who have applied to the job, to set up an introductory call or to ask any questions you may have.
Not applied Candidates: This email is sent to a candidate who has not applied to your job, but is a good fit and wish to check their interest in the job. Make sure to create an appealing email that includes information about the company and why candidates should consider the opportunity.
Reminder emails: These are automated emails sent as a follow-up to candidates who haven't responded to your initial email.
Q. How to add new email templates?
You can create multiple templates under a single job and rename them as per your choice for e.g. "Assessment Template". Except for the 4 default templates that are auto-generated, you can rename any templates that you have created.

Q. How to add attachments to a template?
Many times recruiters send various attachments like assessments or case studies during the hiring process to candidates. You can click on the "pin" icon to add one or more attachments to your template.

Q. How to edit a template?
You can personalize all the email templates and insert various tags like the candidate's name, which will be different for each email sent.

You can even copy the template from other jobs you posted.

The message is fully customizable and once you are done, click on save

Please note you cannot add external third party links in the email body of custom messages.
The link to the Job description is automatically added whenever you send the email to candidates.
Q. Can my teammate see an email template I created for a specific job?
Teammates who are already subscribed to that specific job will automatically have access to all the email templates you create.

Q. What are the "All Jobs" templates and does my teammates have access to it?
"All jobs" email templates are common templates that can be applied to any job. Such as a "Rejection" email template or a "Form submission" template etc. They can be created by you and will be private unless you share them with your teammates.
Click on "All jobs" on the email templates page

Then either add a new template or edit an existing template.
Click on "Make this template available to teammates" while saving the template.

How to disable reminder emails?
Based on our research conducted with 217 agencies, automated reminder emails lead to a 73% increase in candidate response in comparison to only sending an initial email. So, we highly recommend you keep them enabled. But you can disable them when you don’t want to send any follow-up emails to candidates.
