Settings: Tips & Best Practices

Candidate engagement from the first stage is very important. You have to ensure that from the moment you reach out to the candidate or a candidate applies for it, the process has to be smooth.

Often candidates don’t accept an offer, not because of the job role but instead, the process was either too time-consuming or confusing.

Here are some things you can do in your “Other Settings” to provide a great candidate experience.

Review applications as and when they come and take relevant action on them. That way your pipeline will always be warm with qualified candidates.

Send personalized emails to candidates, make them feel you know them and hence, you are reaching out to them.

According to our survey, 77% of candidates don’t even open the mail if they are addressed as ‘Dear candidate’ or ‘Dear job seeker’. It doesn’t mean you have to write every single time, create personalized templates and keep them handy.

Sending follow-up emails gets higher responses. So its recommended that you enable reminder emails.
